Mission
都市住宅の立地、建設、流通、機能等、及びこれらをめぐる社会、経済、技術、文化の各領域における諸現象のメカニズムを実証的に把握する（実証科学）とともに、社会システムや居住空間等の望ましいあり方を研究する（規範科学）総合学としての「都市住宅学」を構築することを目的として、「都市住宅学会」を設立する。
Association of Urban Housing Sciences holds academic lectures and research presentations on urban housing, and conducts research focusing on the history, structure, function, property, income and expenditure, etc. of urban housing.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
