大熊町(おおくままち)は、福島県浜通りに位置し、双葉郡に属する町。
北隣の双葉町にまたがって東京電力福島第一原子力発電所があり(1号機から4号機が大熊町、5号機と6号機は双葉町)、東日本大震災(2011年3月11日)に東日本大震災に伴い起こった福島第一原子力発電所事故により大きな影響を受け、廃炉と復興が進められている。
Ōkuma (福島県双葉郡大熊町, Ōkuma-machi) is a town located in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
The town was totally evacuated in the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and residents were permitted return during daylight hours from May 2013. In April 2019, parts of the town were deemed to have been successfully decontaminated, with residents allowed to return to these areas.
