Source
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The present systematization carried out by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) compiles Good Practices in Post-disaster Recovery in Latin America and the Caribbean, with the aim of spreading and highlighting the work and recovery processes that are coming taking place in different countries of the region. This systematization compiles some good practices in recovery processes by disasters in different territories under the leadership of multiple actors such as: local governments, sub-regional and national, civil society organizations, foundations, organizations from the private sector and the Academy, in addition, in some cases, with the support of the UN System and from UNDP.

This document brings together 12 initiatives developed in 10 countries (Barbados, Bolivia, Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru), and we thank all of the UNDP offices that participated, shared and contributed to the compilation of this document.
