This book was compiled by the Reconstruction Agency to introduce the various "challenges" of companies and organizations in the three prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima toward industrial reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

This document is a selective and reflective documentation of the ILO’s work in the region, to illustrate the diversity, the ‘journey’, and some of the activities and achievements of ILO technical assistance in the Pacific over 45 years.

IRP Herald Volume 28 serves as the knowledge report for the workshop “Towards Coherent Disaster Risk Reduction Strategy Development, Implementation and Monitoring among the SAARC Member States.
