The preparation of this National Progress Report has been undertaken within the framework of the biennial 2011-13 HFA Monitoring and Progress Review process, facilitated by UNISDR and ISDR System partners.

This post-disaster needs assessment presents the damage caused by the 2012 floods in Cameroon and identifies and offers preliminary recommendations and short-and long-term recovery measures.

The primary conviction of this report is driven by a concern that people’s exposure and vulnerability, experienced individually and collectively, continue to be twin challenges for the Asia-Pacific region.
