This publication outlines a UNDP's approach to recovery from the 2022 floods in Pakistan, including infrastructure, livelihoods, integration of climate action and disaster risk reduction to safeguard vulnerable communities.

This paper's purpose is to develop an analytical framework for estimating the behavioral effects of disasters and their economic consequences. The reduction of these losses represents the benefits of pre-disaster mitigation and post-disaster recovery.

This study uses research from the aftermath of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake in Nepal to document and quantitatively compare the differentiated impacts of the disaster on richer and poorer households.
