This publication outlines a UNDP's approach to recovery from the 2022 floods in Pakistan, including infrastructure, livelihoods, integration of climate action and disaster risk reduction to safeguard vulnerable communities.

This paper's purpose is to develop an analytical framework for estimating the behavioral effects of disasters and their economic consequences. The reduction of these losses represents the benefits of pre-disaster mitigation and post-disaster recovery.

This report identifies ways for the BRIC program to develop a multihazard, forward-looking, risk-based approach to mitigation that also incorporates issues of equity and community well-being in its application and evaluation processes.
