International Recovery Platform

The purpose of this Long-Term Disaster Recovery Plan is to develop a model action plan for the City of Oakland, as well as to identify the components of this type of plan for the cities and counties of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The focus of the INEE Minimum Standards Handbook is on ensuring quality, coordinated humanitarian response: meeting the educational rights and needs of people affected by disaster through processes that assert their dignity.

This report highlights a range of BCPR's 2009 key achievements in (i) conflict prevention and recovery, (ii) early recovery, (iii) disaster risk reduction and recovery, and (iii) gender equality in crisis prevention and recovery.
