This report forms a key part of a wider research project on ‘Law and Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction’ conducted by IFRC Disaster Law and based on a previous literature review on the topic.

This volume explores the socioeconomic challenges and opportunities facing South Africa as it recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, providing analysis of potential paths toward achieving inclusive and sustainable economic growth in the post-pandemic era.

This PDNA assesses the impact of the 2022 floods in 94 calamity-hit districts across Pakistan. It serves as the foundation for future analysis, including a resilient recovery and reconstruction strategy and a coordinated effort for building back better.
