This study emphasized the sustainable development of the two case studies and highlighted different private residential housing types: 1) a dome-shaped reinforced structure house and 2) a conventional reinforced concrete structural frame house.

This HEA study investigated the extent of post-earthquake recovery in the disaster zone by measuring the basic components of household livelihoods and by assessing gaps between income earned and income needed to meet basic needs.

This white paper is based on a desk review of literature on housing, land and property (HLP) in Sudan, as well as observations by humanitarian actors currently in Sudan.
