会員の研究発表、知識の交換並びに会員相互及び内外の関連学協会等との連絡提携の場となり、都市計画に関する学術の進歩普及と都市計画の進展、及び都市計画に係る専門家の資質の向上を図り、もって学術・文化・社会の発展に寄与することを目的としています。
The City Planning Institute of Japan (CPIJ) was established in 1951 aiming to develop scientific knowledge of urban and regional planning, and to become platform for exchanging knowledge and planning technology among the public, the private and the academic sectors. Since the establishment, CPIJ has contributed to the academic study and culture of the growing academic field of urban and regional planning by providing our members with various opportunities to promote innovative knowledge exchange among members and with the relevant professional groups.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
